Hunan All-Aluminum Alloy Golden Pavilion Ancient Architecture Project

In the aluminum alloy storefront project for Hunan Baoqing Yinlou, aluminum‑magnesium‑manganese alloy imitation antique tiles, aluminum alloy dougong brackets, aluminum alloy upturned eaves, and other aluminum components manufactured by Xi’an Penghang were employed. The entire structure was finished in a golden hue that harmonizes with the silver‑toned aesthetic of the building, and the grand golden portal has now been fully installed.

Upon completion, the entire gatehouse delivers a visual impact that far surpasses the project’s initial expectations: its warm, golden‑toned surface has been treated with a distinctive matte finish, eschewing the cheap, glossy sheen of conventional metal paint. In the sunlight, it radiates a soft, lustrous glow reminiscent of traditional gilt—timeless and refined. The layered, staggered aluminum alloy dougong brackets display crisp, clean lines, while the sweeping curves of the eaves and upturned corners perfectly echo the elegant spirit of classical architecture, harmonizing seamlessly with the Baoqing Silver House’s century‑old heritage. From the moment it was unveiled, it has become an iconic photo‑op landmark in the local streetscape.

Unlike traditional ancient architecture, which relies on wooden components and terracotta tiles, this all‑aluminum system is perfectly tailored to Hunan’s climatic conditions—long monsoon seasons, intense summer sun, and frequent freezing rain in winter. It inherently offers corrosion and rust resistance, waterproofing, flame retardancy, and superior wind‑ and earthquake‑resistance, eliminating the common problems of wood rot and insect damage, as well as tile cracking and detachment. With an overall service life exceeding 50 years, it requires virtually no frequent renovation or maintenance over time. While preserving the authentic aesthetic and tactile qualities of historic buildings, its prefabricated, modular installation approach slashes construction timelines by nearly 40%, making it a benchmark project for upgrading time‑honored brand storefronts and revitalizing urban cultural‑tourism landscapes.
